Mindfulness

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is about bringing ourselves into the present moment. It is about heightening our awareness of the ‘Now’, of noticing our thoughts or feelings without judgement.

Mindfulness can bring you a sense of peace, space and self control into your life, through a variety of different Meditation, Visualization and Breathing exercises.

This, in turn, will help you to de-stress, unwind from pressures, demands or tensions from daily living.

Meditation

Meditation

Mediation is a practice that can be learnt by everyone, at any stage of their life. It is an invaluable support in helping people take control of their lives.

The wonderful part about it is that it only takes between 1-2 hours to learn and a few minutes to practice each day.

Once the skill is mastered then Meditation helps to reduce stress, control emotional reactions and improves concentration, so that natural talents, abilities and memory can be developed.

Alexander Technique

Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is a method of becoming more mindful of your body.

It's a way and of identifying and learning to release the unnecessary, habitual tensions that may create discomfort in your body and limit your freedom or ease of movement.

It can help you to:

·      Become more present within yourself, whether in stillness or activity

·      Increase your awareness of habitual tensions and give you tools to release out of these

·      Increase your sense of balance and of being naturally poised

·      Strengthen your back and help to relieve aches and pains

...and lots more!

It's about releasing, relaxing and letting go…about doing less to achieve more…about feeling comfortable in your body and being centered, grounded and confident about who you are. It's about listening to yourself, trusting your intuitions and learning to perform with freedom and ease.

"Change involves carrying out an activity against the habit of life"
